Dean the Owner of Funky Hostel established 9 hostels in Latvia - Posh Backpackers, Riga Old Town Hostel, Old Town Hostel, Argonaut Hostel, Barons Hostel, City Central Hostel, Beach Hostel,  and was a founding partner of Naughty Squirrel Hostel.  Only The Beach Hostel and Funky Hostel remain with Dean as the others now have new owners.
